Val,Just wanted to drop an email to tell you guys that I received a test kit from The Woman Hunter website to review. Well, I love it! And have carried it with me on my spring gobbler hunts in CT. I've showed it off to the other guides in the guide service that I work with. And just placed an order for 6 kits to give to them as gifts. Hope to see you get your product into our area of Connecticut. Great idea. Thanks for the chance to try your wonderful product and for supporting woman hunters. You've gained a fan. I carried your Diaphresh kit with me this past weekend for my mouth calls and attached a picture of my harvest of the weekend. Thanks again and wish you success in your business ventures. P.S.- If you need future products field tested by a lady hunter keep me in mind. Respectfully; Elise Saltus
![]() April 21, 08 Good Morning Val, The PA Youth Day was this past Saturday and I was able to call in 4 birds for my girls of which 2 of them rode home in my truck. My youngest, Siera, took her first bird (a jake with a 2 3/4" beard weighing 14 lbs) and my older daughter, Amanda, took her 2nd consecutive opening day bird (also a jake sporting a 2-1/2" beard coming in at 17 lbs). We were set up at about 10 minutes to six and had 10 different birds gobbling around us in not time, but it took almost an hour before I could break the birds away from their flocks and coax them into my decoy set. The shot was at 11 yards and Siera shot first dropping her bird in its tracks and Amanda's shot went off a split second later but we had to trail hers about 40 yards into a brush pile before recovering it. I got the whole thing on video and I don't think I could be any more proud of my girls. I want to thank you for everything. I'll forward you a copy of the video. Once again thanks and happy hunting! SincerelyDuane D. Hall D.A.S.H. Outdoors Val (via email) 4-12-08: This morning was the first hunt I have made using your product, and when I retrieved my calls from the case, they sounded great. ....and there was no jacking around trying to get the reeds unfrozen. Works like a champ. 4-13-08: ...Actually, I got jammed up on a bird this morning. The bird I was working quit me and went elsewhere. I had been working that bird with a slate call and when I stood to move a bird gobbled right (less than 50 yards) behind me. All I had time to do was sit back down and get one call and my mask. I went for a diaphragm. I had not used it since yesterday, but had it stored in my case and had cleaned it yesterday as per instructions. Just like yesterday, no stuck reeds, great sound and the bird was dead 15 minutes later. Absolutely attributable to your product enabling my calls to work like their ‘posed to.!! Thanks! Val, At the 2007 SHOT Show I had an assignment to write an article on the "Top 10 Best New Items" of the year. When I saw the Diaphresh System, I knew immediately it would make the cut. Finally a solution for putting an end to damaged mouth calls. This isn't just a new gadget. This is "must have", quality piece of gear. Thanks again, Doug Gilmer Bristow, VA Freelance Outdoor Writer |
Val,Here is a picture of the turkey I harvested while using your System. This is a very good product and a very valuable tool for the turkey hunter who works hard for their money today and needs to get as much as they can out of their calls. Thanks again for the System! Val, Just got your Diaphresh Field Case and I've tried it out. It's a good product! My old call sounds like a new call. I just rinsed it like you said, tried it out and it sounds totally different. I play with mouth calls 365 days a year and this is a good product! Thanks Ed Pratt - Huntington, WV |
Val, I wanted to take some time to write you about the Diaphresh System. This year several of the Cedar Spur Outdoors Pro-Staff started using the Diaphresh System to clean and maintain their mouth calls. In the past I would just rinse my calls in tap water and put them into a carrying case. Anybody who uses a mouth call knows that when you pull out the call the next time, the reeds are stuck together and sometimes the odor... BAD. Now, with your system, not only do my mouth calls taste fresh and clean, they seem to hold the sound that I want. I never realized the difference could be this big. Cedar Spur Outdoors staff were able to harvest 59 turkeys on film this year and I think some of that success can be attributed to having calls that maintain their sound. Thanks for developing the Diaphresh System; I know I'll be using mine for years to come Steve Stocker CEDAR SPUR OUTDOORS Pro-Staff |
![]() "Dear Val, I think the Diaphresh System is a great product that is a must for all hunters who use diaphragm calls. This system not only cleans and makes your diaphragms fresh and sanitary, but keeps them from gumming up and extends the life of your calls a lot longer. This makes for consistent performance (sound) when you go to call your next big game or turkeys. Thanks for helping me stay successful in the field with the Diaphresh Call Freshening System. It's the little things that help a hunter stay on top of his game!" Kevin Gross, Host-"Hunting With the Pros" TV, former Major League pitcher |
Diaphresh Testimonial ![]() by Mark Becka, College Station, TX August 5, 2007 I’ve been using various types of mouth calls for 12 years and have experimented with many ways to keep my mouth calls as clean and fresh as possible. I’ve used everything from regular tap water to medicine-strength mouthwash, but haven’t gotten them as clean as I thought they should be. After several “cleanings” the calls never sounded the same as they did when they were new. Prior to this last turkey season, my girlfriend bought me the Diaphresh Call Freshening System. My initial reaction was, “oh, it’s just a cleverly packaged bottle of mouthwash with a convenient plastic wash case”. However, she convinced me to try it before our first turkey hunt of the season in Menard, TX. It took a little practice to get the mouth calls loaded into the Diaphresh field case. We followed the directions, and placed the recommended amount of the Diaphresh Rinse in the case, closed it up and shook it gently. After emptying it out, I was surprised to see that most of the “gunk” on the calls had been rinsed out, but my calls were SO dirty I needed to rinse them a second time. This did the trick. The calls came out clean and smelled fresh. I took one of the calls out to see if the sound had changed. It sounded different to me. I then tried all of the calls I had cleaned. They all sounded as if they were new. That’s what was different. They had a clear crisp sound and I was able to make all the turkey vocalizations without any problems. I could never seem to get this sound from my mouth calls when I rinsed them out with just plain water or mouthwash. And, I have to tell you, I never realized how dirty mouth calls actually get! Needless to say, I was sold on the Diaphresh system….and you can be sure I will continue to use this product. |

someone invented a way to solve the myriad problems with your fragile diaphragm
calls. This little item solves them all." Steve Sorensen - Read Article |
| Val, The mouth call box for rinsing my calls worked very well. Every day after using my mouth calls which was 32 days straight. I would rinse with water and put into the box with the solution provided and follow the directions. After being in the solution for the recommended time I would rinse a second time in water and then lay out to dry. My calls every morning had a fresh taste and maintained the sound that I wanted from them. In the past, my calls after just a few days would start to lose that sound, become gummy and hard to separate the multiple reed calls that I use. I use my mouth calls a lot. Usually after just three to five days I would get a minor sore throat and I finally figured it was from my calls not being sanitized. I would then put them in hot water to sanitize, but this method would sometimes damage my calls. This is the first year I have not had sore throats, gummy reeds or trouble separating my multiple reed calls. What a great product for the care of persons mouth calls!
